Our Mission:
The Centre for Human Performance & Health (CHPH) at the University of Windsor is dedicated to advancing sport performance, promoting active and healthy living, and improving workplace safety. Through applied research, innovative programs, and community partnerships, we strive to create evidence-based solutions that support athletes, students, and the wider community in reaching their full potential.
Who We Are:
Located within the Faculty of Human Kinetics, CHPH brings together researchers, sport scientists, students, and community organizations under one shared vision: bridging the gap between research and practice. Our work integrates state-of-the-art testing, inclusive exercise programs, and health initiatives that make a measurable difference in people’s lives.
Our Focus Areas:
-
Providing athletes and coaches with advanced testing, training, and monitoring strategies to enhance performance, health, and long-term sustainability.
-
Promoting wellness across the lifespan through inclusive, accessible programs that encourage lifelong physical activity.
-
Developing evidence-based practices to support both physical and psychological safety in professional environments.
